Where Do You See the Before-and-After Size Comparison?
Once a video finishes compressing, its task card shows the original file size, the compressed size, and the percentage saved — no need to reach for a calculator to see the effect.
Per-task and batch-summary numbers are calculated separately
Each task card's percentage reflects only that one file's own result, independent of the others. The batch summary bar adds up original size and compressed size across every completed task and computes one overall savings ratio — meaning even if a few files compress mediocrely, the overall number still reflects the true average as long as most files did well.
What this number is actually useful for
If the overall savings ratio is noticeably lower than expected, it's worth checking whether the batch included content unsuited to the current compression strength (an already heavily compressed file, for instance) rather than assuming the settings themselves are wrong. If one specific file's savings is unusually low or negative, open it individually to check whether its format or content is unusual, and adjust settings for just that one if needed.
